Video Training $249.00
EDPM's two-hour video "Drugs,
Alcohol and
the American Workplace" is designed
to
meet the DOT supervisory requirements for
one hour of training on the signs
and
symptoms of alcohol use and one hour of
training on the signs and symptoms of drug
abuse. The video is divided into four
components for ease of viewing and for
viewers whose busy schedules do not allow
for a singular two-hour time commitment.
This video is ideal for training
larger groups
or one new supervisor who is in need of
training.
Each video includes a supervisor workbook containing
reference information to assist your
supervisors and employees now and in the
future.

Interactive
Training CD 129.00
For individual training, EDPM has developed an interactive training CD "Drugs,
Alcohol and
the
American Workplace", which may be modified to meet the training needs of your
organization. This CD requires no additional software to operate and may
be used on any
Windows-based computer. Viewer's knowledge of the material is tested at
the end of each
session.
Like the training video, this
program meets the DOT's requirements for both alcohol and drug
awareness training and is divided into four segments. It also is
accompanied by the training
workbook which may be used as a reference for supervisors and employees.

On-Site Training
EDPM can schedule
experienced trainers to come to your location to share the importance
of
drug and alcohol testing and reasonable suspicion training with
supervisors, employees,
board
members or any other client group. Face-to-face training allows your
employees to
ask
questions and engage in an interactive discussion.
On-site training creates the awareness, motivation and energy to encourage
participants to
minimize the devastating effects of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
EDPM can
structure and customize the training session to meet your needs.
EDPM also offers classes at
EDPM's corporate headquarters for specialized training.

Supervisory training:
Sessions are designed to prepare
supervisors for making the
determination of whether
reasonable suspicion exists to test an employee for drug and/or
alcohol use. The first
hour covers the physical, behavioral, speech and performance
indicators of the use of
controlled substances. The second hour covers these indicators in
reference to the use of alcohol.
Supervisory training is mandatory for companies that are
regulated by the DOT.
Employee training:
Employee training creates greater
awareness of alcohol and drug
abuse in the workplace.
Training can also improve awareness and "buy-in" of your
company's alcohol and drug abuse
policies and testing procedures. Urine drug screen
collection procedures and breath
alcohol testing procedures are also explained. All
questions are addressed. The
accuracy and confidentiality of the drug testing process are
fully related. Employee
training sessions vary in length depending upon the needs of the
employer.
Urine Collection and Breath Alcohol Training
New federal guidelines require more
extensive training for both DOT urine drug screen collections and breath
alcohol training.
Our staff can provide this training for your collection site personnel
either at your facility or in
EDPM offices. Training is scheduled to meet our client's needs.
